I’m Joonas, CEO & Founder of MeetingPackage. I’m building a small, world-class team of builders, people who move fast, own everything they build, and are genuinely obsessed with what’s happening at the frontier of AI. This Product Builder Trainee role is part of that team.

This isn’t a traineeship where you shadow people and wait for tasks. You’ll work and report directly to the CEO and be expected to build real things from day one. You’ll have full ownership of what you ship. No committee approvals. No waiting in line. If you already reach for AI before anything else, not as a shortcut, but as the default way you think and build, and you’re frustrated that most companies are still figuring out what a prompt is, you’ll feel right at home here. This is a paid 6-month full-time traineeship that can start between April and June. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Finland. If you prefer a hybrid model, you can combine remote work with on-site collaboration at our lovely office in Espoo.  🌍

What you’ll actually do

Have end-to-end ownership of your work. That means you identify a problem, propose a solution, build it, and put it in front of real users. The job isn’t to “build AI agents,”  the job is to build great products, and AI is simply how you do it. It’s native to how you think, not a feature you bolt on. You’ll build both outward and inward. That means customer-facing product features that hotels and venues interact with every day and internal tools that make our own team faster from the moment they’re shipped. No backlog item waiting six months to matter. If it solves a real problem, it goes live.  πŸš€

  • Ship product that solves real problems for hotels and venues globally, using whatever combination of AI, automation, and code gets the job done best
  • Build internal tools that our team actually uses: automations, dashboards, workflow shortcuts that save hours every week
  • Go from idea to working prototype in hours or days, not weeks
  • Stay genuinely ahead, and you’re already testing new models and tools before they’re mainstream, and you bring that into everything you build
  • Own the full cycle: build, ship, observe, iterate for both internal and external audiences
  • Work directly with the CEO, no layers, no 1-on-1 rituals, just outcomes
  • Contribute to architectural decisions on our new AI-native platform while also shaping the foundation that already runs the industry

You'll feel at home if you

  • Use AI natively; it’s not a feature of how you work; it’s the foundation. Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Gemini, whatever came out last week
  • Have actually shipped something with AI at the core as a side project, a weekend build, a tool you made for yourself because nothing else existed
  • Can work independently and make decisions without needing someone to validate every step
  • Move fast and don’t treat uncertainty as a blocker
  • Have a basic understanding of software fundamentals (or you learn them as you go, because you already do that)
  • Are excited to be part of a small, focused team, not a big company process
  • Can start between April and June and commit to a 6-month full-time traineeship
  • Are based in Finland with a valid work permit
